As of December 1st, smallclothes is now owned by Anne Thompson.
I am excited and thrilled to be taking over this amazing shop! Ruth and Steph have created an amazing baseline for one extraordinary shop and I would like to continue this store with the same level of commitment and professionalism. Come in and meet me, and sometimes my girls, Falon, 4 and Farrah 2.5, now open seven days a week!
As Always Shop Philosophy: First Rate, Second Use!
Mother/daughter team Ruth and Stephanie started smallclothes 8 years ago with the strong belief that all material items deserve a second use. ‘meeting today’s needs without jeopardizing future resources’
Parents want a way to keep their kids clothed stylishly and affordably, but babies, toddlers and kids grow so fast it can be expensive to keep up. By shopping at smallclothes, parents save money in two ways: shopping inexpensively is a given, but the option of selling gently used clothing and books to us increases the savings all the more. At smallclothes you can outfit your kids for a fraction of retail.
We believe in reducing, reusing and recycling, whether it is paper, glass, aluminum, plastic or clothing. We like used, but also appreciate FRESH! smallclothes trades or purchases well cared for clothing from our customers. Our intention is to keep the process quick and easy. As a resale shop, we eliminate the time-consuming and often frustrating consignment process. We hope to save parents (and ourselves!) time and energy.
Of course, we sell many new items too: organic cotton clothing, Zuppers, IMPwear, Nikki McClure Baby Journals, leather shoes by Smaller, See Kai Run and BabyLegs, and Melissa and Doug!
With a charming, welcoming atmosphere we see shoppers return often, spreading the word to friends and family. Naturally we are a very kid friendly place with toys and books to keep the little ones entertained while you shop.
